High Availability - Offline Solutions

If you need to ensure constant access to the web applications that power field personnel performance, and increase the speed of web application content delivery, CacheFront™ offers a new vision of how to deliver top field results. CacheFront™ delivers the critical data that field workers need to get their job done in the same way they access it already—through the web browser—so there is nothing new to learn. Content Delivery Networks (CDNs)

Caching is also at the heart of CDN performance, which works by serving content from multiple points throughout the Internet so that content can be delivered more quickly than from the origin server. While this network-based approach may work well for public web sites, CDNs are ill-suited for corporate web applications, since they cannot cache VPN-delivered content, and they are not secure for caching SSL-delivered sensitive corporate data. CDNs may result in server load reductions, but the amount of bandwidth consumed by each user is the same, so they don't help problems created by a slow internet connection at the endpoint PC.
