Rocking with the Mobolize Halloween Playlist to Stay Safe on Mobile Devices

 In Blogs & Bloggers

Most of 2020 has been scary. We’re working from home and using our mobile devices more than ever – both for work and to unplug from work. Our kids are learning using mobile tablets and they unplug with TikTok and video games. We’re protecting ourselves, family and friends by wearing masks (perfect for Halloween), social distancing and washing our hands a lot.

This Halloween will also treat us with a full moon, it’s on a Saturday so no rush to get ready and we have an extra hour of sleep on Sunday because of daylight savings time.

That’s as sweet as a Snickers bar.

But here’s the real scary part – using an unprotected mobile device. All year long, there are bad people out there that sneak onto your mobile phone or tablet and steal your data or gain access to your company’s network. Called phishing, malware, ransomware or DNS data exfiltration attacks, and they are getting more sophisticated. These are scary for you, your family and the company you work for.

Good news, they can be prevented with the right mobile device protection. We recently announced a partnership with Akamai (check it out here) that protects enterprises and their employees so those killers on the loose can’t steal your data.

Speaking of killers on the loose, here’s the annual Mobolize Halloween Playlist. Enjoy listening on your fully secure mobile device.  Happy Halloween.

Killer on the Loose – Square Dance Heroes

Pandemic killer on the loose, so keep him away. Mask, social distance, wash hands and secure your mobile device.

Black Magic Woman – Santana

Women rock. Always have. But be aware of the Black Magic ones who try to make a devil out of your mobile device.

Werewolves of London – Warren Zevon

Aaoooooo. Werewolves are bad guys. Malware. Ransomware. Phishing. Their new thing is DNS data exfiltration attacks. You don’t want your mobile device mutilated by werewolves howling at your kitchen door, even if they have perfect hair.

Dead Man’s Party – Oingo Boingo

Yes, be afraid of what you can’t see. Everybody’s coming to the party, and if you leave your mobile security at the door, you’ll leave your body and soul exposed on the dance floor.

This is Halloween – Marilyn Manson

“Boys and girls of every age, wouldn’t you like to see something strange?” Not on your mobile device. Stay secure.

Bad Moon Rising – Creedence Clearwater Revival

If you’re using a mobile device without security, “I see trouble on the way.”

Be Strong – Hot Since 82 & Rudimental

Be strong against the virus by following CDC recommendations. Be strong against a mobile device invader by using mobile security.

Ghungroo Song – WAR | Hrithik Roshan, Vaani Kapoor | Arijit Singh, Shilpa | Vishal & Shekhar, Kumaar

This is just feelgood – the doctor dancing to make his patients feel happy. He’s the good guy. Beware of the bad guys out there.

Thriller – Michael Jackson

Getting your data hacked via your mobile phone is no thriller. Only strong mobile security will safe you from the beast about to strike.

Have a great Halloween. Be safe. Be scary. But be mobile device secure.
