Carrier In Control

Our friends over at the Telecom Council were good enough to let us do some thinking out loud over on their blog, in a piece called Carriers In Control. I hope you’ll take a minute to read it.

Basically, we argue that, despite some recent efforts to get subscribers and app developers to help with the data tsunami on mobile networks, we think carriers need to be realistic and recognize that the incentives are low and the barriers are high for those groups, so the carriers should accept the fact that they, and they alone, will have to address the challenges.
