We’re Finalists for the 2014 Fierce Innovation Awards
We have some very exciting news to share today – in case you couldn’t tell by the title 😉 – Mobolize has been selected as a finalist for the 2014 Fierce Innovation Awards in the traffic offload category.
There are a lot of great companies nominated for this year’s awards and we’re honored to have been included by the Fierce team. As you know, the heart of our network optimization technology is caching. But caching has been around for ages, so how have we made it cool?
Well, we put it on the endpoint and made it a whole lot smarter than any other caching you’ve seen before. Our patented caching engine automatically identifies a user’s favorite apps and sites, and this level of personalization allows us to optimize mobile networks in a way that’s never been done before. And of course since the caching happens on the endpoint, it’s infinitely scalable with each user bringing the computing power to optimize the network with them. We also implement data compression and adaptive bitrate video controls… I could go on, but our CTO and founder, Will Chow, explains it so beautifully in this video:
